Working with my hands takes me back to when I was a wee tot and painted lake rocks to try and sell lemonade stand style.

I recently relocated from dreary Erie, PA to sunny and lovely Lawrence, Kansas, and the move put a big hurtin on the old wallet, so Im back on Etsy to try and make ends meet. My roommate and I have 2 hungry kitty mouths to feed, and cat chow aint free!

When I am not hitting stuff with big nasty hammers, I find myself gardening, cooking, baking, and I love love love some good music. I love squids, bugs, and creepy slugs, cephalopods and mollusks, insects and bi-valves. Im obsessed with X-files, and I hope I get abducted by aliens. Im entirely to into my cat, Elliott, a Siamese-Persian boy who plays the sitar and speaks french (which is why he never listens to what the humans are telling him.) I collect antique hand-tools and dead animal parts. Pick a color on the wheel, and I guarantee that color has lived on my head before (although Im sporting my natural color for the first time in 10 years.)

All of my pieces are handmade in my personal home studio, Cephalophile Studio, and I frequently recycle my own scrap material. I am pet friendly, and try to be as environmentally conscious as possible (no toxic pickle, recycled materials, that sort of thing.)
